Dulwich House

This house is a beautiful red brick bungalow that had already been tirelessly renovated by the owners.

The rear had an old addition that was a bit cramped, so we removed the addition to make way for a new space that was light filled and made the most of the site and orientation.

A new Carport had already been added by the owners, so part of the brief was to retain the Carport and make the addition work around the Carport.

A beautiful new Mudroom was added off the Carport which showcases some of the beautiful handles from Lo + Co. The space also houses the original stairs to the cellar that were retained.

At the end of the Mud Room is a concealed Powder Room and Store Room and new stairs that link the new addition to the existing house, This space is flooded with light from a skylight above.

Beyond the Mudroom is the new open plan Living Kitchen and Dining Room. These spaces all open onto the Terrace which overlooks the beautiful pool and garden.

Behind the Kitchen and the beautiful eastern corner window that lets in morning sun, sits the Pantry. Access to the Pantry is concealed via a joinery door that sits within the oven and fridge wall of cupboards. The pantry has a beautiful window that overlooks the side garden.

A laundry is also concealed off the Living space with access directly out the side to the clothes line.
